Sultan Ahmad Shah, the fifth Sultan of Pahang also served as the seventh Yang-Di Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from 1979 to 1984. The Sultan is known to possess a strong affinity for sports and was once well known as a great polo player within the country as well as overseas.
