The herbs garden in National Botanical Garden Shah Alam (TBNSA) have
almost 300 of local herbal plant collection. Each herb species available
here is labelled with its scientific name, nickname, health benefits
and the techniques of planting. All the herbs in this garden are for
various applications such as for medicine, aromatherapy, and cosmetic
products, including salads and spices. Among the types of herbs that
grown here are thaumatin, serai wangi, jarum emas, sambung nyawa,
telinga gajah and sambang darah.
