Semporna came to life with its annual festival known as 'Regatta Lepa'. Celebrated by the Bajau seafarers, the decoration on each of the single mast sailing boats are filled with vibrant and exciting colors as they compete for the "Most Beautiful Lepa" title. The atmosphere is accompanied with the traditional Bajau music while the boats made a parade lap around the coastline.
