The Perhentian Islands consists of 2 islands simply named Besar and Kecil, translated as Big and Small. Located off the coast of Terengganu, it makes up but two of the many islands that dot the east coast of Malaysia. Getting there is a cinch from Kuala Besut with an approximate half hour boat ride from the jetty.
