Malaysia was recognised as the Most Popular Tourist Destination Country in Asia at the Top Asia Corporate Ball 2013. It was based on the result of a recent Top 10 survey. Three individuals bagged the highest for being ranked top personalities in the Top 10 of Malaysia and Top 10 of Asia magazines. Tropicana Corporation Bhd founder, Tan Sri Danny Tan received Asia's Most Aspiring Business Icon; Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Air Asia, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes (Asia's Most Influential Corporate Personality Icon) and King of Cantopop Alan Tam (Asia Role Model Artist for Contribution to the Chinese music industry).
