Shopping expenditure by tourists recorded about RM18.56 billion last year, an increased of 5.7 percent over the 2011 shopping expenditure. Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz said, overall Malaysia's tourism industry was the second largest foreign exchange earner for the country and it would continue to flourish.
