In an effort to promote and to entice the public to include museums into their travel itinerary, the Department of Museums Malaysia held a two-day programme at the Perak Museum in Taiping. The event was officiated by Tourism & Culture Minister, Dato' Seri Nazri Aziz. As a state that has such a colourful historical background, Perak has always been a strategic tourist destination.
